Precision Brush - Inside Diameter of Open Wound Coil Brush
The inside diameter, also referred to as "ID" is measured across the inside of the Open wound metal channel. Depending in the lead of the brush, this can be difficult. It is sometimes better to check the ID by testing the brush on a shaft. In order to make sure the brush is secure on our customers mounting shafts, we usually manufacture the brush slightly undersize so the brush will be snug on the mounting shaft.
