Inside Coil Brush

An inside coil brush is a custom made straight strip brush that has been formed into a cylinder, with the filaments pointing inward. These brushes can be ordered with a close wound or open wound filament configuration.

Close wound inside coil brushes have tightly packed filaments. These specialty brushes can be used as a good seal, or to clean product or prepare product for a secondary application.

Open wound inside coil brushes have space between each wrapped loop of the brush allowing for applications where less filament is required.  These brushes are sometimes used for cleaning or wiping the outside of a shaft to control debris while the shaft is moving.

Most of the time, inside coil brushes are stationary and the product moves through the brush, but some of our custom brush clients have devised systems to rotate the brushes as well.
