Typically small, the wheel-like outside disk brush is made from a straight strip brush that is then formed into a cylinder shape and flattened.

These little wheel brushes are commonly used to hold material back or push it along. While cylinder brushes may be used more frequently, outside disk brushes will best suit some specialty brush applications where light brushing is required.

When utilized in rotating applications, outside disk brushes should always be used at a low rpm. A copper center rather than a straight metal channel strip is the preferred choice if rotation is required.
